Style Color data update via import

 

This update can add colors to the Style item list and set the colors to Active or Inactive.

DEFAULT COLUMNS IN THE EXCEL SHEET

The following columns are the default ones - with a description of where to find the data.

Headers in Excel Explanation Example of data
BRAND: The Style Brand name in the Style Header  
STYLE NAME:   Style Name in the Style Header  
STYLE NO:   Style No. in the Style Header  
SEASON:   Is the Season name in the Style Header. If your company uses Project, make sure you do not include the Project name   
SUPPLIER ID:  Supplier ID can be found in Admin->Supplier under the respective Supplier company      
COLOR ID: This is the Color ID - can be found either on the Style Item List or in Admin->Colors. Please see the illustration below  
COLOR ID2: This is the Color ID2 (if used) - can be found either on the Style Item List or in Admin->Colors. Please see the illustration below  
COLOR: This is the Color Name - can be found either on the Style Item List or in Admin->Colors. Please see the illustration below  
ACTIVE: Active is the setting on each Style Color if it is active or not. Please see the illustration below

MANDATORY COLUMNS FOR DATA


These columns are mandatory to enter data in - if you don't do this - the import can not work.

  • Brand
  • Style Name
  • Style No
  • Season
  • Supplier ID - if it is on your style it's mandatory
  • Color ID

FIELDS THAT CAN BE UPDATED

With the update import - it is possible to update the following fields:

  • Color ID
  • Color ID2
  • Color
  • Active

ADDING OR UPDATING

When you use this update feature - it will first look for the Color ID and update from that.

If there is more than one Color with the same Color ID it will look for Color ID2 - if your company is using this. Then it will look for the Color name.


You can update already existing colors on a Style - by setting the color to Active or Inactive.


You can add new colors to a Style - you need to give the Color ID and the Color Name.


If you need to add multiple colors - you need to have one line pr color in your excel sheet.
