Style Item List

Work with the "Main Tag" in your style item list

Mark the most influential items with the "Main Tag" in your item list and get the composition displayed in the header of your style, care instructions, and reports

Introduction & Best Practice:

The main item, and its composition, on a style, are vital for filtering and grouping styles and the compositions are crucial for care instruction and reporting.
With the "Main Tag", we provide a straightforward approach to data flow and group filtering in reports based on the main item composition. With this function the composition of the main item is automatically transferred to the style's care instructions, reducing the risk of discrepancies between the two.
The main item composition will also be featured in the header of the style, making identification of the style characteristics clear and easy to identify.

2. "What happens when?": The item list is imported or the style is copied

3. "What happens where?": In the style Header, in Care instruction, in Style Custom Report

NOTE:

1. The "Main Tag" must be active - read here for how to activate it in Admin.

2. The main item composition is dependent on the Care Instruction module, so this must be active.

3. Only one item can have the "Main Tag" in the item list

  • In the case of multiple details on the item, only the top detail will be transferred to the header and care instructions. So make sure the composition is added there. See example below:

WHAT-HAPPENS-WHEN?

The item list is imported or the style is copied. Read here how to import an item list.

1.
Your style has no item list:

  • The item list will be imported with the "Main Item" tag as specified on the style you import the item list from.

2.
Your style already has an item list with a "Main Tag" defined:

  • If you use "re-place" the main tag will be overwritten with the "Main Item" tag as specified on the style you import from
  • If you use "Add" in the import, the items will be imported, but the Main Tag will remain as you have specified it in your style item list. Also if one of the imported items has a "Main Tag"
3.
You copy the style
  • If the style is copied with the item list the "Main Tag" is also copied to the new style

WHAT-HAPPENS-WHERE?

  • Make the Main Item composition visible in the style Header - read about that here
  • The Main item is transferred to Care instructions - read about this here
  • The Main Item can be included in the Style Custom Report - read about it here
  • The Main Item Tag will not be included in the Item Custom Report
