Update Data In Your Style Custom Report

Learn how to work faster and smarter by updating style data from the Style Custom Report

Introduction & Best Practice

Once you have created a Style Custom Report you can update many of the data points directly from the Style Custom Report without having to jump from style to style. You can use this functionality to verify that all data is correct and complete, and add any missing information before styles are published to the supplier or exported to your ERP. In this article, we will teach you what data can be updated and how to do it.

Step-by-step Guide

NOTE:
1. All data points with a black colored text can be edited directly from the Style Custom Report.

2. Light grey data points can only be edited on style level

3. All updates made in the Style Custom Report will also be updated on style level.

4. Price fields in your report that are differentiated per Color or per Size can NOT be edited from the Style Custom Report. Edits must be done on style level.

Step 1:
Navigate to Reports > Style Custom Report > either create a new Style Custom Report or click on one you have already made.

Step 2:
The report can consist of data points selected with the "Column" tab.

From the first section, "Style data", the following data points can be edited from the report:

  • Brand, Season, State, Brand Contact, Description, Supplier Contact, Project, Group, Style Category, Ready for Export,

Double-click in the field and select the correct data from the drop-down, or type the text if it is a free text field.

Step 3.
From the second section of "Columns", Custom Fields, all fields can be edited, but the way you do it depends on the custom field type:

  • Date Custom field > edit data by double-click and select a date from the calendar
  • Allowed value Custom field > Double-click and select the correct value
  • Text Custom field > Double-click and write the text
  • Hierarchy Values Custom fields > Double-click and select the correct value
  • Numeric Custom Fields > Double click and type the number

Custom fields that are set per color or size work differently:

  • For both options, you will see the Style color, or size, options in a faded grey> double click in the field and view this pop-up:
    > Now fill out the data per color > click ok

NOTE: Suppliers can only edit the Custom Fields that are set to "Editable by Supplier" in Admin

Step 4.
From the third section of "Columns", Prices, fields can be edited too. But please notice:

  • Price fields can contain a price formula (a calculation). These field are greyed out so you can see the value, but you cannot edit them from the Style Custom Report.
  • The fields: Supplier cost price, brand comment, supplier comment, and all fields that have the type: number, currency, or percentage can be filled out from the Style Custom Report.
  • If you have price templates set up, these must be activated on style level by clicking on "Update default values"

NOTE: price fields in your style custom report that are differentiated per Color or per Size -  can NOT be edited from the report. You will have to edit on style level.

Step 5.
From the fourth section of "Columns", Samples, the fields can only be viewed, not edited.
So use the Style Customer Report to check if samples have been requested and nothing forgotten.
If you want to edit the fields, use the Style Sample Report instead.
