Supplier: Introduction to the Supplier Portal Account

The Supplier Portal Account is the new way of working for suppliers in Delogue 2.0. It is a unified account system that allows you to manage relationships with all your brand customers through a single login.

Introduction

The Supplier portal account is the new unified account system in Delogue, where the suppliers working with brands through the Delogue platform can have a unified account system. It is built to bring clarity to one of the most complex parts of product development: supplier collaboration. Instead of managing mapping, documentation, and certificates across emails and spreadsheets, everything is structured inside Delogue - in one place.

The new portal account is created differently than in the legacy platform, as suppliers will have one login to the portal, and be able to manage their basic information, subsuppliers and give brands access to the information.

What is the supplier portal account

    1) Single log-in

The Supplier Portal account is a unified account system that allows you to manage relationships with all your brand customers through a single login. This single login and conversion means, that a supplier will only have to create subsuppliers, facilities etc. once, and through the new portal be able to share that information with multiple brands they work with through Delogue.

It is important that a supplier only creates their new supplier once. Read more about this Suppliers converted multiple times.

    2) Converting from legacy to the supplier portal account

The first step of the new Supplier portal account requires legacy suppliers to be converted to the supplier portal account. This needs to be done in collaboration with the brands that a supplier is working with through Delogue.

Follow this step-by-step guide: Supplier: Getting started with the supplier portal

To gain the benefits from the unified supplier portal account, a brand will help to convert existing suppliers in the Delogue Legacy platform, to the new Delogue 2.0 supplier portal account.

This conversion process connects existing supplier data to the supplier's unified portal account. Once converted, all users and data are preserved, and the supplier gains access to enhanced features like supply chain mapping and certification management.

    3) Subsupplier management

As a supplier in the Delogue Supplier Portal account, you can create a subsupplier library to track the companies you work with for production. You can also create facility locations to document where production takes place and manage production processes.

This information helps your brand customers understand your supply chain network and ensures transparency in the production process. This information could also be used in building supply chain mappings. The subsupplier library and facilities are core features of the Supplier Module.

Follow this step-by-step guide: Supplier: Subsupplier management, Facilities & Processes

    Important: Converting multiple times

In the Supplier Module, the way suppliers work has changed. Suppliers now operate through a single log-in with their Supplier Portal Account, allowing them to collaborate with multiple brands at the same time in one view. This setup benefits the supplier by enabling them to enter their information only once, instead of maintaining the same data across multiple brand-specific log-ins.

To enable this new way of working, the existing (legacy) supplier profile must be converted to a Supplier Portal Account. This conversion only needs to be completed once and will then apply across all brands connected to that supplier.

    2. Supply Chain mapping - step 2

The supply chain mapping gives brands and suppliers the possibility to map on style and/or item level.

Brands create mapping requests linked to styles and/or items. Suppliers complete them in their portal, and brands review and approve inside Delogue.

    3. Certification Management - step 3

The certification management is a part of The Supplier Module.

This step introduces certification management. Supplier can upload all related certifications to their profile and their sub-suppliers that they want to share and brands have requested. This includes certification type and valid to and from dates. All documentation (scopes, transaction certificates etc.) can be added to the mapping giving brands a full view of the supply chain mapping and the related documentation. The documents will be visible in the mapping, giving brands the ability to review in the mapping approval process.
