The future EU legislation and the immediate reporting needs from key account customers demand reporting on all data parameters from the item lists. This article explains how you can do that with the Item Custom Report.
Introduction & Best Practice:
This feature empowers you with enhanced data export capabilities and enables comprehensive reporting on all components/items in a style. This addresses the key accounts' demands, waste calculation needs, and general reporting requirements:
- Enables visualization and verification of item data (composition, weight, size) on the platform before extraction.
- Ensures accurate and relevant information is included in reports.
- Streamlines the reporting process, reducing manual workload.
- Facilitates efficient extraction of information for various reporting purposes (weight usage, recycled content percentage).
- Simplifies the generation of comprehensive reports on item certifications.
- Provides current certification statuses, including active/inactive status and expiration dates.

Example of the exported Excel
An example of the export Expanded with Used in Styles that allows you to see which styles the Item is used in
2. One row per item color/size:
Only useful if you have added item color and size to your report. An Example:
If you use the export option "Group by Item" the data will listed over multiple lines per Item.
3. One row per item including certificate data.
NOTE:
All items will be displayed, if the Certificate columns in a row are empty it is because no certificate has been added to this Item
All users can make this export and do not need the Compliance role.
Example of compliance data in an exported Item Custom report:
In the exported Excel you find six extra columns compared to what you see on the screen:
1.
Column title: "Certificate type"
Explanation: This column will show what type of certificate has been added. If no certificate the cell is empty.
2.
Column title: "Name"
Explanation: Depending on the Certificate type this is what is exported to the column "Name":
Product Certificates: Certificate no and name
Scope Certificates: License no and Standard
Test Reports: Test report no and Test Description
Transaction Certificate: Certificate no and Scope Standard
3.
Column title: "Product and Scope expiry date"
4.
Column title: "Transactions - valid from date"
Explanation: for example, 20-May-2024
5.
Column title: "Test report - requested date"
Explanation: for example, 21-Jan-2024
6.
Column title: "Test report - completed date"
Explanation: for example, 31-May-2024
4. One row per item used in style:
NOTE:
The items are flipped vertically into the rows of the Excel. The same item is displayed in a row as many times as it has been added to a style item list - including compliance data.
So if an item has been used in 5 styles, it will be displayed in 5 rows showing the style name and the relevant compliance data if any.
All users can make this export and do not need the Compliance role.
- The Excel will of course also contain all the data columns you have selected
- Items certificates will be displayed with two columns per Certificate type:
1. one for in-active/expired and one for active/valid certificates (Product, Scope and Transaction certificates)
2. For Tests: one row for "failed" and one row for "passed" certificates - If no certificate data the row will be left empty, allowing you to use the exported Excel to check where a certificate might need to be added.
-
The Style data will always be displayed to the right of an Item. Listed in this order: Style name, Style number, Style Season, QTY, QTY unit, Item Colors & Item Size
