Update data in your Item Custom Report
Did you know that you can update some item data directly in the Item Custom Report?
What can you do in the Item Custom Report?
In addition to viewing your data in the Item Custom Report, you can update selected data points across multiple items at the same time. This makes it easy to track your progress and fill in information efficiently across your collection.
NOTE: It is not possible to make batch updates to items in the Item Custom Report.
How do you edit fields in the Item Custom Report?
To edit any available field in the Item Custom Field, simply double-click on the field and it will turn into edit mode if you are allowed to edit it.
When you move out of the field (to the next field) it will save and shortly turn green so that you can see it has been saved.
What keyboard shortcuts can you use to navigate the report?
- Use the TAB key - this will save the value and take you to the next editable field
- Use CTRL + ENTER keys - this will save the value.
INFO: A supplier user can only edit any fields that they are allowed to edit on Item level.
Fields that can be edited
Not all Item fields can be edited in the report.
You are able to edit Item header information such as:
- Item Brand
- Item Description
- Item Status
- Item Supplier user
- Item Categories
- Item Unit
- Item Default quantity
You will also be able to edit whether the item is ready for export, any item custom fields, and prices (as long as they are not differentiated on size/color).
Which fields cannot be edited in the report?
Fields that appear in italic, can not be edited in the report.
This apply for Item prices differentiated on size/color.
You will not be able to edit following Item header information:
- Item Logo
- Item Name
- Item Number
- Item Supplier
Lastly you will not be able to will out Item Detail information on report level. You will have to go directly to the item to fill out the details such as Composition, Weight and Color.
