Your One Source of Truth
The Compliance module serves as your centralized hub for managing all certificate-related data and test results. This cloud-based system ensures that you are always up to date with the latest regulatory changes, providing you with the peace of mind that your compliance efforts are on the right track.
Key Features of the Compliance Module
Let's delve into the key features of this module:
- Certificate Management
The Compliance module helps you to store all your certificate data, ratings, and relevant files in one place. Say goodbye to scattered documents and hello to streamlined organisation. You can easily manage deadlines and foster comprehensive internal communication on certificates. - Configuration in Admin
In the Admin section, you'll find a new tab called "Compliance" where you can set up the foundation of your Compliance module. Depending on your company's needs, you can enable or disable various certificate types, including Product Certificates, Test Reports, Scope Certificates, and Transaction Certificates. You can also designate a default certification type for convenience when creating new certificates. - Standards, Tests, and More
Admin also allows you to configure the standards you work with, set up tests, define possible test results, and specify third-party institutes or laboratories responsible for testing your products. Additionally, you can create categories, groups, and custom fields for certificates to enhance classification and filtering. - Streamlined Certificate Management
All your certificate and test report management activities are centralised under the new "Compliance" main tab. Here, you can add various certificates and test reports, aligning them with the standards you configured in Admin and connecting them to styles and items.
How to Use the Compliance Module
Let's walk through some key functionalities within the Compliance module:
- Scope Certificates
Setting up scope certificates is straightforward. Click on "Add Certificate," choose the type (in this case, "Scope"), and configure the certificate's details. You can set validity, expiration notification, state, categories, groups, institute, supplier, and more. Internal communication, files, custom fields, and usage information tabs are available for each certificate type.
- Transaction Certificates
Transaction certificates can also be added seamlessly. Connect them to the corresponding scope certificate and specify a purchase order number. Just like scope certificates, you can manage internal communication, files, custom fields, and usage information for transaction certificates.
- Product Certificates
Product certificates require you to add certificate name and number in the header. Monitoring and Declaration of Conformity Generator subtabs become available when the certificate is set as Valid.
- Test Reports
For test reports, input test description, report number, purchase order number, and state. You can also track the request date, expected arrival date, and completion date. Add standards and log in ratings once you receive the results.
- Style and Items Compliance
Explore the Compliance subtab within a Style to effortlessly monitor certificates, tests, and results for the style and its components. Stay informed about validity and expiration dates, and gain insights into certificates and test results for BOM items.
