      How to create items with print artwork options

      When you work with print artworks there are several ways you can create your items. Check this guide below.

      Below you will find three different ways of creating items with print.

      The example is with four different prints, used in the same season, each print containing several colors.

      Option 1:

      • 1 item added. The item contains all print options (4 different prints)
      • Print colors and sizes are described in the uploaded artwork
      • Print variations are specified by name under “Details”
      • Advantage: 
        • You only need to add 1 item to the style item list. For each style color variant, you can choose the wanted "detail color".
      • Disadvantage:
        • If the same print is used on another style and only 1 print is needed, all print files will be added to the style print-out for the supplier, in the artwork tab
        • When you communicate with your supplier, in the communication tap, on one of the specific prints, you will need to specify which of the 4 different prints it is.
        • Since colors and sizes are described in the attached file - If there are changes to the color or size, you will need to change the artwork file, perhaps save as PDF and upload again.



           

      Option 2:

      • 1 item is added per print, each item containing only 1 specific print
      • Print colors and sizes are described under "Details" and by using the Size tab.
      • For each color used in the print, click on "+ add detail" and add the color codes directly.

        Advantaged: 
        • You only communicate with your supplier about the specific print
        • If there are changes to colors or size, you just change it on the item "Detail" or "Sizes" tab
        • You only upload one artwork file pr. used item
      • Disadvantage:
        • You will need to add items as single item: 4 prints = 4 items added

      Option 3:

      • 1 item added per print. Each item contains only 1 specific print
      • Print colors and sizes are described in the uploaded artwork only.

        Advantaged: 
        • You only communicate with your supplier on the specific print
        • Only 1 artwork file per used item
        Disadvantage:
        • You will need to add items as a single item: 4 prints = 4 items.
        • If there are changes to the color or size, you will have to change the artwork file, perhaps save as PDF and upload again to "Artworks"
