When in need of extra fields to fill in data, simply add more custom fields. They are useful when making integration with any ERP system and where specific data has to be provided during data transfers.

Before You Start
1) To create custom fields for certificates, institutes and quality topics make sure the 'Company Admin' and 'Compliance Admin' roles are assigned to you as a user.

Custom Fields For Institutes
With custom fields you can enrich your institute data with additional information depending on your individual needs, such as creditor number or regulatory area the institute operates under.
Navigate to: Admin > Custom Fields > Institutes
- Click 'Add Custom Field' and choose your custom field type:

Custom Fields For Certificates
In addition to categories and groups, you can filter certificates by setting up custom fields for more specific attributes or classifications. Here you can set up, for example, seasons or additional information about supplier facilities as a custom field to improve searchability and filtering or any other additional information depending on your individual needs.

Custom Fields For Quality Topics
When managing quality topics under the Compliance tab, you can improve the searchability of different quality topics you are creating by setting up custom fields. These fields allow you to filter topics based on specific attributes or classifications, such as season, claim type, or product group, making it easier to locate and manage relevant information.
